“Now I have hope for my future.”

— James Jean-Claude

When James Jean-Claude first started experiencing minor back pain, he brushed it aside. As his back pain got worse, it became difficult for him to even walk. Physicians at GW Hospital identified a mechanical issue with James’ neck that could be fixed through surgery.

Keeping You Safe

At GW Hospital, your safety and health are our top priority. That’s why we put safety protocols in place for in-office visits, including enhanced disinfection of high-traffic areas, physical distancing in the lobby and waiting areas, and required masking of all patients, visitors and staff at all times. The hospital regularly cares for patients with highly infectious disease and we continue to follow best practice guidelines to identify, isolate and care for COVID-19 patients, as well as other patients with potentially infectious disease.

They Saved Me From Life in a Wheelchair

After spinal surgery, James is able to walk and his pain has decreased significantly. The level of attention he received from the nurses, doctors and therapists at GW Hospital was “extraordinary.” “I can’t imagine what my life would be like without having this procedure,” he says.

Advanced Surgical Techniques for the Spine

Using some of the most advanced technology available in the nation, GW Hospital’s neurology team provides complex and comprehensive patient care. Working closely with other GW Hospital specialists, the physicians at the GW Spine and Pain Center are helping patients manage their pain and live better lives.
